We were all looking forward to our opening drive yesterday and it got off to a very good start. The green was looking fabulous. We played 5 ends and then moved rinks and played another 5 and went into tea. After tea although it was drizzling everyone went out but it soon turned into a downpour so the decision was made to abandon the game. It was a great turnout with over 50 people. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of play due to the rain but I have got one of the stunning looking green.
